VBS stands for Vacation Bible School! Where children from 4 years old through 6th grade learn all about Jesus, our Savior.

At Planet Zoom, children learn how little is big—just like each little bee has a job to do to help build up the hive, Planet Zoom teaches kids that because Jesus died and rose again for them, they can play a big role in God’s kingdom by sharing his love.

Kids will meet Scout, a bee in the Planet Zoom hive, and four other bee friends who will guide them through the week. Scout and his friends will guide children through five amaz-z-zing Bible stories that will teach them to be bold bee-lievers of Jesus. Together, Scout, kids, and even leaders will learn about how:

Jesus, our Savior, came to seek and save the lost
Jesus, our Savior, does big things
Jesus, our Savior, says, “Believe!”
Jesus, our Savior, tells us to go and tell
Jesus, our Savior, works through His people

Planet Zoom shares a new perspective that encourages even the littlest bee-lievers to make a big difference in God’s big world. No child is too young to understand the depth of Jesus’ love. So prepare yourself for a swarmin’ good time.

VBS is at Trinity Lutheran Church is FREE! (We do collect donations of clothing and money for a mission project every year) Be prepared for a lot of fun and excitement! Children join groups based on the grade they have just completed. Each group has an adult guide plus several helpers to take the children through a series of rotations. Every day, the children see & hear the Bible story of the day, learn a theme verse, do a craft, sing great songs, see themed skits, visit a discovery center, and have time for snack/recreation.

Four year olds, and 5’s who haven’t been through a school environment will have a separate preschool space where modified activities are done. Fifth and 6th graders have their own, cool separate hang-out space in Trinity’s Youth Room.
